I was very touched and moved by
Susan at the Mother-Daughter Banquet at Arcadia FBC. She has a perfect
way of speaking the truth with love and humor that really makes me want to
hear more (and again and again).
 | Lynda Hart, Arcadia First Baptist Church |
I was just writing to let you know that I accepted Christ into my life this
past Sunday. The reason I am writing you is to let you know that I think you are
the one that started it all, in a good way. I came to see you when you talked at
University Baptist Church a couple of months ago. I could NOT get the
thought of letting go of the rope out of my head since, the image of you, the
bull, etc. As I told the people in my Sunday school class, I have known the
truth all along but had a hard
time letting go of control!!!!! Anyway, I thank you for "planting the
seed" that helped me finally see the truth. Love in Him!!!

I cannot even begin to say enough about Susan. "WOW"!!! What a
retreat! She came and just made us roar laughing one minute and cry the next. I
was just so taken with her entire story and how she just beams of God's great
love even though she has been through so much. I just know that she has a sense
of Him and a great sense of humor to lighten up any situation, and isn't that
what it is all about?? Lets lighten up and see God's glory! Our women at CTK
will be talking about this retreat forever and absolutely want her back by
popular demand!!! She moved us in so many ways and blessed us with laughing
which we all needed that weekend! I can guarantee that there is not one person
on this earth like her. She takes "special" to a whole new level! May
God bless her!
 | Jenny Harris, Member of Christ the King, Kingwood,TX |
Susan, Thank you for the inspirational weekend you helped provide in
Brenham, TX for the Christ the King Women's retreat...hereafter to be referred
to as the "Scratch and Sniff weekend" :-). You are a blessing to many
and have been giving wonderful gifts from God (comedy, song, teaching...) and
joyfully share them with so many. May the Lord continue to bless you and use you
in this world.
 | Cheryl T., Christ the King, Kingwood, TX |
Dearest Susan! WOW is my first reaction to your testimony. You are a true
inspiration, especially to the divorced women who thought that they could not
succeed. YOU'RE living proof that we CAN do anything "if we let go and let
God". Thank you and may God continue to bless you abundantly as you have
blessed everyone that has listened to you!
 | Marisa |
Susan you were great in NYK.
Susan, you were a blessing in New York. Thanks.
Susan O'Donnell was our guest speaker at the Bishop's Year-End Breakfast. We
were blessed abundantly. We received singing, preaching, comedy, and her
testimony, all at the same time. Susan's talents truly are a gift from God. We
will cherish her testimony for life. I pray that as she travels throughout the
world, that everyone who hears her will be blessed as we were and vow to
"Lighten Up".
 | Bishop Richard Moore, Holy United Ministries, Queens, New York |
Susan ministered at Holy Unity Ministries, New York where Bishop Richard Moore
is the Pastor. Your message was awesome and the voice that God has given you is
truly a blessing. Continue to allow God to use you and always remember "It
is a blessing to be a blessing".
Heard you at Teach 2002. What an awesome voice gift you have been given.
I am so glad I accepted a friend's invitation to Cornerstone Foursquare Church
last Friday night to hear you. What an inspiration! God definitely uses you to
touch those in your audience. I commend you for sharing your experiences to
inspire and encourage others to "Lighten UP" and let God take control
of our lives. I enjoyed visiting with you after the meeting and I will
definitely come to hear you again soon. Please get more CD's.
 | Tona |
Susan, it was a real blessing to hear you minister at Cornerstone Foursquare
Church. Thanks for coming out.
 | Jon "the sound guy" McNeil |
Susan, I got to see you at 1st Baptist Church when you got to open up for Kathy
Troccoli...it was so exciting and fun to see you perform in front of live
audience...I didn't want you to stop! You're a blessing to me every AM on KSBJ...you
& Dave make my day!
 | Twila, Houston |
Susan is amazing! Anyone interested in a superb, godly, spirit-filled speaker
should call her. She is a riot, too! When she is finished with her presentation,
you just don't want her to leave! What an amazing testimony!
 | B. Reid, Houston's First Baptist Church |
Susan O'Donnell was our speaker and soloist for our annual Ladies Night Out at
Fairmont Park Baptist in LaPorte two nights ago. God used her comedy, touching
testimony, and song to reach the ladies from every walk of life. We laughed and
cried together, and Susan challenged us to "Lighten Up", and give God
complete control of our lives. It was a wonderful evening, and one we will not
soon forget. Thank You, Susan, for sharing your talents with us, and allowing
God to use you in such a mighty way. God Bless Your ministry!
 | Kathy Kimball, LNO Chairperson 2002 |
I heard you mention your website on the air a couple of days ago and thought I
would check it out - it is great!! I especially enjoyed the Honduras trip
section - I heard you talk about it on KSBJ, but seeing the pictures and your
comments really brings it home. I love listening to KSBJ every morning on my way
to work - I sing along and worship as I drive - if anyone drives up beside me
they must think I'm nuts, but that's OK. God has blessed you with such talent
and gifts - and you choose to use what you have been given for His glory. That
is awesome! God Bless You!!
 | l. Smith, Baytown, TX |
I was not aware of this web site until I heard you mention it about two days
ago. I think it is very encouraging and also inspiring. I listen to your
show all the time and I hope to meet you some day soon. God bless you.
 | Helen Babayemi |
Thank you for mentioning your website this morning. I had no idea this existed.
Now I have something else to delay my getting started at work every morning! You
are so GOOOOOD! I love listening to you and Dave. You make me smile and giggle
on the way to work (50 minute drive from Angleton). Thanks for sharing your
grins with me.
 | Dawn Hill, Angleton, Texas |
All I can say is, we Houstonians, are so blessed to have you. Your love for the
Lord is contagious. Between you and Beth Moore my walk with the Lord has grown
so much. I love you, Girlfriend!
 | Sandi Samms Houston, Texas |
Susan, I am a HUGE fan of your morning show on KSBJ. I listen to you and
Dave every morning. You inspire me, make me laugh and make me cry and I feel
like Houston is so BLESSED to have every one of you at KSBJ to minister to us!!
God Bless You.

Incredible! Awesome! Susan is truly an experience. I do not believe words can
adequately express how God used her here at First Baptist Katy. No matter your
background, you could identify with something Susan shared. Her message is
shared from the heart and what a blessing and testimony of the power of Jesus
Christ it is. We need more women who stand, without compromise, for the gospel.
I know God has a powerful ministry ahead for Susan.
 | Chris Bynum, Director, Women's Ministries, First Baptist Church, Katy,
Texas |
I saw Susan at First Baptist Church in Katy, she was so awesome, it was
WONDERFUL to see how GOD has blessed her with this PRECIOUS ministry of her
life. And how she gives GOD all the Glory. It was also to wonderful to finally
put a face with the voice that I listen to every morning. Thank you Susan for
allowing GOD to use you in a MIGHTY MIGHTY MIGHTY way . May GOD always richly
bless you.
 | Your sister in Christ, Terry Berens |
We received the following comments about Susan: “Great, wonderful, very
inspirational, best speaker ever, a hoot, incredible, terrific, fabulous,
fantastic, powerful woman of God, outstanding, a true blessing, awesome
testimony and life lesson.” Our ladies truly received a blessing from you
Susan. Thank you so much for coming and allowing God to use you in such a
powerful way.
 | Debbie Marsh & Billie Colvin, Ladies Retreat Chairmen, First
Baptist Universal City, San Antonio, TX |
I recently had the privilege of being in Susan's audience as she spoke at the
First Baptist Church of Universal City's Ladies Retreat. All I can say is,
"What a blessing!" There wasn't a single woman in the audience who
wasn't moved. Susan has truly been blessed by God and I was blessed to be a part
of the retreat. My only regret is that I don't live in Houston and so I can't
listen to Susan on the radio daily! Thanks Susan for what you do!
 | Tina McDonald, San Antonio, TX |
I have seen you for the first time in Kerrville in January and you really
blessed me! You are right - we do need to Lighten Up! Your wit makes you a
people magnet! Your submission to the Holy Spirit will inevitably bring many to
the Lord and/or bring Christians to a higher level with the Lord. Thanks for
squeezing us into your schedule. We'll keep you lifted up in our prayers. God
Bless!!!
Hi Susan. I just met you at the retreat in Kerrville with 1st Baptist of
Universal City. I am "Terry S.", not "Teri S.", and just
bought 5 of your CDs for friends. You truly are inspirational and your ability
to laugh and make others laugh is a special talent--especially after all that
you have had to experience. God truly knows what He is doing.
 | Terry S., First Baptist of Universal City, TX |
Thanks and God Bless. P.S. Oh Yea! Thanks for info about Psalms 56:8 Good luck
to you.
 | Terry Sims |
Susan, You're the best and we love you!

Houston's First Baptist Women's Ministry was honored and blessed to have Susan
at our Super Ministry Event in November 2001. Our room was filled to capacity.
Susan is a great communicator! She shares her testimony through word, laughter
and song. Susan's testimony speaks to women of all ages, all walks of life,
whether married, single, young or a woman full of years! Susan stepped down from
the stage and then ministered to women one-on-one and they were in awe that she
would spend time with them. I hope you will invite Susan to speak to your women,
you will be blessed!
 | Carolyn W. O'Neal, Director, Women's Ministry, Houston's First Baptist
Church |
Susan was a true blessing to the Single Parent Family Ministry at Lakewood
Church. She made us laugh, cry, laugh, cry, laugh, laugh and even entertained us
with her beautiful voice. We had such wonderful comments from our single
parents. They were inspired by her testimony and witness first hand the
victorious life she is living as a single parent that can only come from Jesus
Christ. Thanks Susan for being our special guest and we look forward to your
return.
 | Percy Kennedy, Director of Single Parent Family Ministry, Lakewood
Church, Houston, Texas |
My mom rocks! Sometimes, it's hard for teenage girls and their moms to get
along, but my mom is my best friend. She has continually set a Christ-like
example for my sister and I to follow, and her ministry still ministers to us,
no matter how many times we have heard it. She is a God-given gift, and any
church would be completely blessed to have her minister to its congregation.
I attend Lakewood Church and I just wanted to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK
YOU. I so enjoyed your testimony and the sharing you gave to the Single Parents'
Ministry. I can definitely relate to the knocking at the door while mommy is
getting some quiet time in the bathroom (smile). You made me laugh, you made me
cry and revived my spirit by your testimony. Continue to share it with other
single moms whenever you can. It uplifted me so to find that others share some
of my same experiences. It is also good to hear such testimonies because God can
use you to inspire others to get out of "that dark hole" and pick
ourselves up and continue "the good fight". We must do it for
ourselves and for our children. I didn't know you could sing. God has given you
a BEAUTIFUL VOICE!!! Again, thank you for sharing. God Bless you.
 | Angela Barrs, Lakewood Church, Houston, TX |
Susan shared with us on Aug. 24th. It was the BEST community women's event! I
heard Susan speak about 5 years ago at Foundry UMC and I had a passion about
getting her to Good Shepherd UMC! She is so awesome and sincere. You laugh, cry,
laugh again, and she leaves you wanting more. She has been there in the trenches
and speaks from her heart! If you have a chance to see her, DO IT! Even if ya
have to drive a ways, it is worth all your efforts. They ladies that could not
make it to our event want to know her schedule so we can plan a road trip!
Thanks Susan!! And God Bless you!!!
 | Paula Petritz, Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, Cypress,TX |
We had Susan at our Ladies Conference this past Spring and had a wonderful time.
She is funny, but most of all lead by God in her work and life. Our ladies have
requested having her back next year. Most all of the comments of the Conference
were "She is the best we have ever had!" This says a lot because she
followed other well-known speakers in prior Conferences.
 | Pat Cowell, Chairman of Ladies Ministries, First Baptist Church,
Valliant, Oklahoma |
I heard Susan speak at a Weekday Early Education conference in Waco two summers
ago. After hearing her speak, I couldn't wait to get her to speak for our
Ladies' Retreat at Hunters' Glen Baptist Church in Plano, Texas. Susan is a
great speaker that holds your attention for hours. You will laugh until you cry
and then cry from the message Susan has to give. She is down to earth, thought
provoking, has a beautiful voice, and the Holy Spirit is definitely in the
place. We had a great time with her. DO NOT MISS AN OPPORTUNITY TO HEAR HER!!!!
 | Member, Hunters' Glen Baptist Church, Plano, TX |
By the time Susan got through with our Friday evening session, not one woman had
any makeup left on their face because we had laughed so hard that we cried it
all off. On Saturday she touched everyone lady attending in some way. Susan
truly has a gift from God and is especially wonderful in speaking to women. You
will not be disappointed!
 | Barbara Smith, Retreat Chairperson, First Baptist Church, Tomball,
Texas |
Susan was the speaker at our Ladies' Retreat in the spring. She had something to
say to everyone that applied to their lives no matter what age they were. She
was such a blessing to all of us. I can highly recommend her to any church
wanting her to be their speaker.
 | Linda Lazenby, Ladies' Ministry, First Baptist Church, Tomball, TX |
The Ladies ministry at First Baptist Church, Tomball, TX was privileged to have
Susan come speak at our retreat for two days this year. Her touching testimony,
hysterical comedy (we laughed until we cried) and inspirational music were
fabulous!! We couldn't have asked for anyone better.
 | Member, First Baptist Church, Tomball, TX |
